Why Life Insurance?

Life insurance is about protecting what matters most—your family, your business, and your financial future. It ensures that in the event of the unexpected, your loved ones are supported, debts are covered, and long-term goals remain within reach.

At Aynsley and Associates, we believe life insurance is an essential part of a well-rounded financial plan. It provides peace of mind, knowing that your family will be looked after, mortgages and other financial commitments can be met, and businesses can continue to operate smoothly.

Financial Security for Your Family
If something happens to you, life insurance provides your loved ones with a financial safety net. It helps cover everyday expenses, replace lost income, and ensure your family can maintain their standard of living.

Debt & Mortgage Protection

A life insurance payout can help settle outstanding debts, including a mortgage, personal loans, and educational costs. This prevents your family from being burdened with financial stress during an already difficult time.

Security When You Can’t Work

An illness or injury could prevent you from working for weeks, months, or even years. Insurance can ensure you can continue meeting financial commitments like mortgage payments, household bills, and everyday living expenses.

Business Continuity & Succession Planning

For business owners, life insurance can ensure the smooth transition of a company by covering expenses, funding buy-sell agreements, or providing key person protection to keep operations running.

Life Insurance Solutions

Life insurance can be complex, with a wide range of products available from multiple providers. Choosing the right coverage to suit your personal circumstances requires careful consideration. At Aynsley and Associates, we have the expertise to assess your unique needs and recommend a tailored solution that aligns with your financial goals and budget. Our guidance ensures you receive the right protection with confidence and clarity. Some of the options available are:

Life Cover

Provides a lump sum payment if you pass away or are diagnosed with a terminal illness. It helps repay debt, cover expenses, replace lost income, and provide financial stability for your family.

Trauma Cover

Also known as critical illness cover, this provides a lump sum if you are diagnosed with a serious medical condition such as cancer, heart attack, or stroke. This payout can help cover treatment costs, mortgage payments, or everyday expenses while you recover.

Income Protection

Pays a percentage of your income if you are unable to work due to illness or injury. This ensures you can continue meeting financial commitments, such as mortgage payments, children's education costs, and daily expenses while focusing on recovery.

Mortgage Protection

Designed to cover your mortgage repayments if you are unable to work due to illness, injury, or redundancy. This helps safeguard your home and provides peace of mind during difficult times.

Total & Permanent Disability

Provides a lump sum payment if you become permanently disabled and are unable to work again. This can help cover medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, home modifications, or ongoing living expenses.

Private Health Cover

Covers the cost of private medical treatment, giving you faster access to specialists, diagnostic tests, and elective surgeries. It helps reduce wait times and ensures you receive the best possible care when you need it.

And More
Insurance is a vast topic. Other benefits include Key Person cover, Loss of Revenue cover, Specific Injury coverage, Household Expenses cover, Terminal Illness cover, Funeral Cover, Hybrid products, and more.

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of insurance can you advise on?

We specialise in life and health insurance, including life cover, trauma cover, income protection, mortgage protection, total and permanent disability cover, private medical insurance and business protection. We assess how the different types of cover can work together based on your circumstances, financial commitments and priorities.

How much life insurance do I need?

The appropriate amount depends on your mortgage and other debts, household income, dependants, business obligations and the financial future you want to protect.

Aynsley and Associates has developed comprehensive insurance modelling tools that assess the cover you may need today and forecast how those needs could change in the future. By considering factors such as debt reduction, income, inflation, family responsibilities and existing assets, we can recommend an insurance programme designed to remain appropriate as your circumstances evolve.

Can you review insurance policies I already have?

Yes. We can review your existing policies to identify potential gaps, overlaps or cover that may no longer suit your circumstances. A review does not necessarily mean replacing your current insurance; retaining existing cover may be appropriate, particularly when health, policy terms or pricing have changed.

Can I obtain insurance if I have an existing medical condition?

An existing condition does not automatically prevent you from obtaining insurance. Insurers assess applications individually and may offer standard terms, adjusted premiums or an exclusion relating to a particular condition. We can help you understand the application process and assess the options available from appropriate insurers.

Some medical insurance policies may provide cover for eligible pre-existing conditions after a stand-down period. Availability, timeframes and terms vary between insurers and products.

What does working with a financial adviser cost?

Aynsley and Associates does not charge you a fee for the insurance advice we provide. If we arrange a new insurance policy for you, we receive a commission payment from the insurer once the policy begins.

This means you do not pay us directly for our advice. The nature of this remuneration will be disclosed and explained to you as part of our advice process.

Not sure what cover you need?

We can review your circumstances, existing policies and future protection needs.
