Claim requirements

Every policy has different claim requirements. For medical insurance claims, it is better to seek 'pre-approval' for upcoming procedures & consultations. For income-protection claims, you will often need extensive medical notes and proof of income. In any claim-related environment, Aynsley and Associates can be the intermediary between the insurer and client to assist in achieving the best outcome.

Claims process

The insurer will analyse the medical event against the policy you hold. This can take anywhere between a couple of days and a couple of weeks. This depends on the size, nature, and extremity of the claimable event. Once assessed, the insurer will outline the benefit levels available. For ongoing claims, the insurer will often assist in rehabilitation and check-ups.
